U.S. Senator Mark Warner (D-Virginia) has shared his profound grief over the death of his daughter, Madison, who was 36 years old and passed away after a decades-long battle with health issues.
In a statement released Monday, Warner described her as someone who “filled our lives with love and laughter.” He noted that her absence leaves an “immeasurable void” and expressed appreciation for the support of friends and family during this difficult time. Warner also emphasized their request for privacy as they navigate their loss.
Warner and his wife, Lisa Collis, have two other daughters: Gillian and Eliza.
