Authorities responded to the home of singer Frankie Valli after reports that his son, Francesco Valli, violated a domestic restraining order.

The Los Angeles Police Department arrived at the 92-year-old singer’s residence at approximately 5:05 p.m. on Sunday following a call that a 38-year-old man was “banging on the door demanding entry.” Law enforcement deployed a police helicopter for aerial support during the incident, but the unit cleared the scene by 5:14 p.m. without making arrests or finding evidence of physical entry.

An LAPD spokesperson stated there was no evidence of a crime and confirmed no formal police report was filed during the visit. A second call minutes later referenced a “family dispute—restraining order violation,” but Frankie Valli’s representative said, “This is a private family matter, and it was resolved before the authorities arrived.”

This incident marks the latest in a documented series of legal conflicts involving Francesco Valli. In April 2024, Frankie Valli and his younger son, Emilio Valli, secured a three-year restraining order against Francesco Valli—valid until April 29, 2027—that mandates he stay at least 100 yards away from the family’s homes, vehicles, and workplaces.

The original court filing stemmed from an attempted break-in where Francesco Valli “repeatedly physically threatened to harm or kill” Frankie and Emilio Valli. Court documents describe these threats as part of a pattern spanning several months. Legal filings indicate Emilio Valli stated the family believes Francesco Valli is “addicted to opiates.”

The filing also alleged that Francesco Valli, an actor known for films such as “The House Bunny,” destroyed property and sold stolen personal items belonging to his father. Frankie Valli had provided financial support to his son under the condition he enter a residential drug treatment program.

At the time of the initial filing, a representative noted: “Frankie is saddened by these unfortunate events and appreciates that his privacy will be respected as he works out these family issues.”
