President Donald Trump declared on Monday that legacy media outlets would falsely portray an American military victory over Iran as an Iranian success, stating, “The Dumacrats and Media have totally lost their way.”
“They have gone absolutely CRAZY!!!”
In a post from earlier this week, Trump criticized reports about what he described as a “totally FAKE TEN POINT PLAN” in Iran negotiations. At that time, he wrote: “All ten points were a made up HOAX – EVIL LOSERS!!! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”
Trump also posted on Truth Social Monday, mocking the media’s reaction to any perceived Iranian surrender. He claimed that even if Iran “surrenders, admits their Navy is gone and resting at the bottom of the sea,” and its military leadership waves “the representative White Flag,” legacy media outlets would headline it as an Iranian victory.
The April dispute centered on reports describing a proposed framework for Iran negotiations that included terms viewed by administration figures as unacceptable, such as continued uranium enrichment and Iranian control of the Strait of Hormuz. Vice President JD Vance stated that one circulating proposal was likely “written by ChatGPT” and never seriously considered by the White House.
Trump also warned Iran on Sunday that the nation would be “hit much harder than before” unless it returned with a better offer to end the war. His warning came hours after he posted: “For Iran, the Clock is Ticking, and they better get moving, FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!”
