Trump Administration States $12 Billion Already Spent on Iran Conflict

National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett stated that the Trump administration has secured sufficient funding for the ongoing conflict involving Iran.

Hassett noted that whether additional congressional approval would be required remains under review by Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought, but the latest figure reported was $12 billion—amounts already spent on the war.

“We have the necessary weapons in place,” Hassett added, “so we do not anticipate needing any supplemental funding.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson declared last week that a supplemental funding package for the Iran conflict would be inevitable, emphasizing that such measures were anticipated even before the operation began. Johnson stated that specific details and the timeline remain undetermined.
