This 1965 hit was written and sung by the Dave Clark Five. Dave Clark and his guitarist, Lenny Davidson, are its composers.
I wrote about “Assassination American Style” back on March 9. I never thought I would be writing about it again just 60 days later.
However, as many know, on April 25 at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner, a California teacher named Cole Thomas Allen allegedly engaged in a daring attempt to assassinate President Donald Trump and as many of his aides and cabinet members as possible.
What I wrote about on March 9 became all too real just 47 short days later.
I knew then that I would write again about the assassination culture that has captivated the Democratic Party.
These John Wilkes Booth wannabees are not the “lone wolves” they appear to be.
No, the assassination culture is now part of American life, brought to you by the Democratic Party at its highest levels.
You don’t believe me? Ask Raymond Eugene Chandler III and others who seemingly think as he does.
Many are people you’ve never heard of. They are all allegedly open supporters of violence against President Trump and other leading Republicans.
Some have actually done enough to get indicted. Chandler, in particular, thinks he’s a candidate for the United States Senate from Pennsylvania.
I identified the Tyler Robinson wing of the Democratic Party. Tyler Robinson is Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin. I submit the Tyler Robinson wing is metastasizing rapidly.
Before there was Tyler Robinson there was Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. At one point, Sen. Schumer blasted U.S. Supreme Court Justices, declaring they would “reap the whirlwind” for making decisions Schumer disagreed with. Exactly what did Schumer mean? Did he ever clarify his heated declaration?
But more recently, post-Cole Thomas Allen, U.S. House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries, D-N.Y., called for “maximum warfare” against Trump and the Republicans.
And now, who I’ve crowned as the Godfather of the Tyler Robinson wing of the Democratic Party—former FBI Director James B. Comey, the alleged “author” of the seashell screed “86 47” against the president.
Comey claimed to “find” sea shells forming those exact numbers, “86 47,” while walking on the beach. It made news worldwide. The “86 47” meme purportedly means: “Kill President Trump.”
Subsequently, Comey has been indicted. Will he be tried and convicted? He’s a Democrat. Will the case be thrown out before it goes to trial?
But not to worry. Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif., has reposted the “86 47” meme and appears to be giving his full support to the Tyler Robinson wing of the Democratic Party.
With people like Chuck Schumer, Hakim Jeffries and Ted Lieu promoting political violence, how should the decent people (you and I) respond?
First, make them vote. Create legislation in both Congress and the State Houses that defines criminal actions against high-level government officials. Include doxing, threats, and clearly aggressive speech and actions.
Second, create sister bills with mandatory minimum sentences for being found guilty of these crimes.
Third, call out all Democratic officeholders and candidates, get them on record explaining how they have pushed back or supported the Tyler Robinson wing of the Democratic Party. Make them defend the indefensible. No middle ground.
Use their answers against them at election time. That’s a start.
Right now, the pro-violent Dems are running a “Catch Us If You Can” strategy.
Our strategy going forward: Join the fight. Let’s identify, catch, indict, try, convict, then sentence them and . . . and let’s do it all over again.
It’s our turn to “yell with all of our might.”
