Maitland Ward, best known for her role as Rachel McGuire on the 1990s sitcom “Boy Meets World,” has revealed that she now earns six figures per month through adult content and platforms like OnlyFans.
In an upcoming appearance on the Investigation Discovery series “Hollywood Demons,” Ward contrasted the capped salaries of network television with her current income. She stated that her previous television work yielded approximately $20,000 to $25,000 per episode, but now she reports earning “six figures a month” via direct subscriptions, adult film sales, and personal brand management.
Ward described the transition to adult entertainment, which began in 2019 through cosplay. She said: “I am creating this brand. I can make it go for as long as I want it to go.”
Citing the unpredictability of mainstream Hollywood, Ward noted that TV performers face the “constant fear of being fired or written off” without guarantees of continued work.
“Hollywood kind of typecast me and shunned me as this sitcom girl,” she said. Ward described her time in traditional media as one marked by restricted opportunities.
The former “Boy Meets World” star called her current role a move toward greater autonomy: “In porn or OnlyFans, I have found a venue that makes me feel more powerful than I ever have in my life.”
Ward’s career began with roles in “The Bold and the Beautiful” and the film “White Chicks.” Since pivoting to adult entertainment, she has received industry awards and built a significant online following.
“I have amazing fans that have just shown up,” Ward said. “It’s a time when we were alone and stressed and everything. That’s a time when you need to connect.”
