The White House announced that President Donald Trump is scheduled to make a public announcement on Monday at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time alongside Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Secretary of the Navy John Phelan.
According to the official schedule, the event will take place at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. No additional details about the announcement’s substance were immediately released.
The announcement comes amid reports of oil tanker seizures off the coast of Venezuela this weekend.
