Rep. Randy Fine, R-Fla., warned Monday that antisemitism is infiltrating the Republican Party and demanded accountability. Speaking to Newsmax, Fine criticized conservative commentator Tucker Carlson, labeling him “the most dangerous antisemite on the right.”
Fine cited Carlson’s recent interviews with Nick Fuentes, a figure linked to white nationalist and antisemitic ideologies, as evidence of growing threats within the movement. He condemned Carlson’s shift, stating, “He has fallen prey to this delusional darkness, which is basically America last, in which he demonizes President [Donald] Trump, American Jews, Israel — everything we do — and stands with countries like China, Iran, and Russia.”
The congressman highlighted the urgency of addressing the issue, saying, “There comes a time to pick a side,” and added that aligning with figures like Fuentes risks undermining core values. Fine also shared a graphic from Fuentes bearing the phrase “Team Hitler,” responding, “400,000 Americans died to defeat Team Hitler. You are the very definition of America Last.”
Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts distanced himself from Fuentes’ views but criticized cancel culture as an inappropriate response. Meanwhile, Fine emphasized the need for the GOP to confront what he described as a dangerous ideological shift.
