Conservative Commentator Urges Christians to Stand Firm Against Antisemitism at Jewish Coalition Summit

Former police officer and conservative commentator Brandon Tatum delivered a passionate address at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s Annual Leadership Summit in Las Vegas, demanding that Christians “stand by our Jewish brothers and sisters to the very end” in the fight against antisemitism.

Tatum, host of “The Officer Tatum Show,” framed the issue as a moral imperative, stating, “I actually read my Bible… and we have to stand by those principles to the very end.” His remarks came amid growing divisions within conservative circles over attitudes toward Israel and Jewish communities. While figures like former President Donald Trump have consistently supported Israel, Tatum criticized others on the right for promoting or tolerating antisemitic rhetoric.

“I will never capitulate,” he declared, condemning those who “platform somebody who dogs out Jewish people and praises Stalin.” Without naming specific individuals, he targeted conservative influencers accused of advancing anti-Israel narratives, mocking Jewish donors, or questioning U.S.-Israel relations. “If you think the Jews run the world, you are a fool,” he said, adding, “If you think [Israeli Prime Minister] Bibi Netanyahu runs Donald Trump, you are a fool.”

Tatum contrasted what he called Trump’s “integrity and strength” with what he described as baseless conspiracy theories about Israeli influence. “Israel is one of our greatest allies,” he asserted. “If you think otherwise, you either hate Jews or you’re ignorant.”

He shared how his first trip to Israel reshaped his perspective, admitting he initially viewed the country as “like Afghanistan” before witnessing its “freeways, innovation, peace.” The Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, further solidified his resolve. “If you dare commit such an atrocity against people chosen by God, you should never have an opportunity to do it again,” he said, drawing applause.

Tatum closed by challenging attendees to act boldly: “When you leave here, you better leave more bold, more courageous, and standing up more than you ever have before.” He concluded with blessings for Israel, America, and Jewish communities.
