Left-wing terrorism poses a serious threat to American society, though it receives less attention than right-wing violence.
Recent reports indicate that pro-choice extremists have shifted their focus from abortion clinics to crisis pregnancy centers nationwide. These centers assist women who are deciding whether to carry a pregnancy or pursue an abortion.
A group identifying as “Jane’s Revenge”—a reference to Jane Roe in the landmark case Roe v. Wade—has declared war on such centers, demanding they cease operations within 30 days or face further violence.
The group has been active across multiple states, including New York, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Texas, and Washington. Their tactics include firebombing, arson, property damage, and threats.
According to the State Department, the group’s website was taken down recently following a crackdown by the Trump administration on terrorist infrastructure.
The group operated under a network that utilized services from Italy-based “Autistici/Inventati” (A/I Collective). The State Department designated this collective as a “specially designated global terrorist” on August 26.
This designation has led to immediate action: radical websites have shut down.
The A/I Collective provides technology for organizing, recruiting, communicating, disseminating propaganda, sharing target information, and carrying out attacks—while remaining anonymous. It has been linked to violent campaigns in the United States and across Europe, including sabotage of rail systems in France, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Some domestic groups using A/I Collective resources have published calls for violence against immigration enforcement. This includes instructions for activists to shine laser pointers at Customs and Border Protection helicopters and doxing ICE agents to facilitate harassment or home attacks.
The State Department warns that such activities constitute terrorism, not protest.
