Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., announced her endorsement of Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., on Tuesday for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by the late South Carolina Republican Lindsey Graham.
Norman posted on X that he was “incredibly honored” to receive Mace’s support and declared: “Now more than ever, South Carolina needs a PROVEN conservative fighter who will stand with President Donald Trump, advance the America First agenda, and help pass the SAVE America Act in the U.S. Senate!”
Standing side by side with Norman on Capitol steps, Mace labeled him a “true conservative,” before they proceeded to vote on budget rules.
When asked about former President Trump’s potential endorsement of Sen. Darline Graham, R-S.C.—Lindsey Graham’s sister—who entered the race, Norman expressed respect for Trump and stated he aimed to earn his support.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., announced Monday that he would not endorse a candidate but praised Darline Graham: “She obviously carries on Lindsey’s legacy. But I think she’s a very accomplished person in her own right. Let the voters in South Carolina decide.”
