ICE Arrests Multiple Child Rapists and Violent Offenders in Major Weekend Operations

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has arrested multiple individuals over the weekend who were convicted of violent crimes including child rape, assault, and drug trafficking.

Lauren Bis, acting assistant secretary at the Department of Homeland Security, stated that “under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, ICE law enforcement never takes a day off, even during the weekends.” She added that “this weekend, ICE arrested multiple child rapists, violent assailants and drug traffickers. Nearly 70% of ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of crimes in the U.S. We are getting criminal illegal aliens off our streets and out of our country.”

Among those detained were:
– Rodrigo Vasquez-Martinez, a Mexican national convicted in Malheur County, Oregon, on 10 counts of third-degree rape involving a child under 16, as well as sodomy, incest, and carrying a concealed weapon.
– Wilson Alberto Hernandez-Bautista, a Guatemalan national convicted in Lynn, Massachusetts, of rape of a child with force, assault with intent to rape a child, and indecent assault and battery of a child under 14 years old.
– Josue Curiel Soto, a Mexican national convicted in California of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor more than three years younger, driving under the influence, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
– Mario Perez-Perez, a Mexican national convicted in Sampson County, North Carolina, of attempted statutory rape of a person 15 years old or younger.
– Jose Lucas Calero-Tierrablanca, convicted in Denton County, Texas, of sexual performance by a child under 14.
– Bruno Franco Estrada Chacon, convicted in Bakersfield, California, of lewd or lascivious acts involving a child under 14.
– Juan Sumba-Duchi, an Ecuadorian national convicted of rape in White Plains, New York.

Additional arrests included individuals with convictions for assault and domestic violence offenses:
– Kelvin Daniel Padilla-Meza of Honduras, convicted of assault on a family member in Harris County, Texas.
– Duarlin Esau Leiva, also from Honduras, convicted in Dallas of assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
– Rene Sanchez, a Mexican national convicted of assault in Riverhead, New York.
– David Jimenez-Martinez, convicted of assault in San Antonio.

ICE also detained:
– Veniamin Zimin, a Kazakhstan national convicted in Clark County, Washington, on charges including threats to kill, multiple DUI offenses, burglary, and violating a protection order.
– Varkendy Mouscady, a Haitian national convicted in Miami Beach of selling cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school.
– Adan Solorio Solorio, convicted in Fresno of possession of a stolen vehicle and commercial burglary.
– Jonathan Ortiz-Ibarra, convicted in Sevier County, Texas, of burglary-related theft offenses.

The Department of Homeland Security emphasized that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to remove criminal aliens from the United States.
