Dick Morris, a presidential adviser, claimed that midterm voters will soon recognize how much better President Donald Trump has made the economy.

Speaking ahead of President Trump’s scheduled address in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, where he would promote economic improvements, Morris stated, “This marks a very important moment in this campaign,” attributing current economic conditions to former President Joe Biden.

“The public is beginning to grasp that Trump is increasing wages and pay faster than prices are rising,” Morris added. “Voters are seeing that we’re getting to the bottom of inflation.”

Morris highlighted recent data showing that inflation growth has slowed relative to wage growth. “It’s having a significant effect,” he said. “This represents a turning point in the election, and polling next week will reflect this shift.”

While Democrats have sought to assign blame for economic conditions to President Trump, Morris asserted the president is “making progress.”

“It may seem modest, but the fact that prices rose 1% slower than wages — one of the first times in decades — demonstrates real advancement,” Morris explained. “Trump is finally taking this issue seriously and addressing it thoroughly.”
